Cincy Print Haus is a screen printing and promotional products shop located in West Chester, Ohio. As an employee myself, I was very close to the project and wanted to best represent the work environment and culture through the design elements.
CPH's color strategy is a re-imagining of the classic CMYK palette that serves a dual purpose: representing the rainbow of colors we print with, and communicating the friendly, laid-back attitude of the shop.
Keeping the vibe light and fun was an important part of the process. This drove many strategic decisions, like making sure to include the shop dogs in creative ways throughout the visual identity, and utilizing a ‘haus’ inspired shape to highlight each member of the team on the website.
Cincy Print Haus is proudly “dog-owned” with three shop dogs working alongside their humans, tasked with the pivotal role of keeping morale high all day long. These four-legged employees each received their own unique illustration, adding to a bank of assets we could pull from for collateral design purposes.
